Terms of Service for DARSMS platform access and bulk SMS usage.
These terms explain how DARSMS accounts, sender IDs, API access, billing, and messaging compliance work for customers using the platform in Tanzania.
Your responsibilities on DARSMS
Protect your login credentials and API keys.
Send messages only to contacts with valid permission.
Use approved sender IDs and accurate campaign content.
Follow applicable telecom and data protection rules.
1. Acceptance and account use
By using DARSMS, you agree to use the platform only for lawful business, organizational, or operational messaging. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping login credentials and API keys secure.
2. Messaging rules and consent
You must send messages only to recipients who have given valid permission or who reasonably expect to receive operational updates from you. Spam, phishing, misleading content, abusive messaging, and unlawful marketing activity are not allowed.
3. Sender IDs, content, and compliance
You are responsible for the content you send, the sender names you request, and compliance with telecom, privacy, consumer protection, and anti-spam rules that apply to your use case. DARSMS may review, reject, pause, or remove sender IDs or campaigns that create legal, reputational, or delivery risk.
4. Billing, credits, and service availability
SMS credits, pricing, and payment terms may vary by plan or agreement. Purchased credits are used when messages are accepted for processing. Delivery depends on mobile networks, approved sender IDs, message content, routing, and destination handset availability, so uninterrupted or error-free delivery cannot be guaranteed.
5. Suspension, termination, and liability
DARSMS may suspend or terminate access if an account appears unsafe, non-compliant, fraudulent, abusive, or overdue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DARSMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from service interruptions, delivery delays, recipient actions, or third-party network failures.
6. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. Continued use of the platform after an update means the revised terms apply from the effective date shown on this page.
Reach the DARSMS team if you need help with sender IDs, onboarding, API access, or platform usage questions before sending live traffic.
